Martin Haegele received engineering degrees from the University of Stuttgart and from the George Washington University in Washington DC. In 1989 he started working as a research engineer in industry and transferred to Fraunhofer IPA in 1992. In 1993 he was promoted to Head of Department ”Robot Systems”. Today Haegele is Division Manager “Intelligent Automation and Cleanroom Technology”. He is a 2007 Engelberger Awards winner.
