Future cooperation between mankind and technology needs to be based on partnership. As problems need to be solved as a team, machines have to provide people with easily understandable and task-oriented information on current conditions and predicted developments.

The type of interaction with technology is also changing radically. Cryptic error messages give way to short, colloquial messages known from social media. For intuitive human-machine-communication, voice and gesture control is in use. The result is a “social networked industry” in which people and machines are networked and collaborate in partnership.
